IDMC Cow Mats
Enhance Cow Comfort and Productivity with Our Premium Cow Mats
- Well-being, health, welfare, and overall productivity of cows & buffaloes depend upon lying down and resting time.
- Lying down time is influenced by the lying surface within cow sheds and barns where these animals rest.
- Rumination, a vital aspect of bovine health, is closely linked to lying behavior, influencing overall productivity.
- 70% of rumination occurs during periods of lying down. Animals experiencing comfort lie down more frequently and have longer rumination times, thus enhancing digestibility of forage rations.
- Investing in optimizing the resting area pays dividends, as cow comfort improvements translate directly into tangible financial gains.
- Rubber mats of diverse designs and varying thickness have proven their worth by enhancing comfort in sheds, barns, and cubicles.
- Mats serve as an efficient solution to cushion the rigid concrete or hard flooring commonly found in such spaces.
- Our range of mats offers a swift remedy, elevating cow comfort by providing a soft, hygienic, and inviting resting surface for cows and buffalo.

CMT Kit
Mastitis is the costliest disease in dairy farming; however, early detection can help in treatment before the udder tissue is damaged, preventing loss of milk production and permanent damage to the udder.
The California Mastitis Test (CMT) is a simple and inexpensive cow-side test that can identify mastitis at the subclinical stage. CMT directly measures the inflammation of udder tissue based on the somatic cell count in milk, which has a strong correlation with infection or inflammation in the udder.
It is simple to use, and the test can be easily interpreted by farmers.

Teat Dip Cup
Minimizing the incidence of mastitis on a dairy farm requires improving pre- and post-milking hygiene, as well as ensuring clean milking machines or hands. Teat dipping (both pre and post-milking) plays a crucial role in maintaining good udder health.
The IDMC Teat Dip Cup is designed to enhance the teat dipping process by separating the teat dip solution after it is squeezed out of the bottle. This design prevents the dip solution from re-entering the bottle, thereby avoiding contamination of the entire solution. This ensures that infections (both inter-quarter and from animal to animal) are prevented, contributing to healthier udder conditions and better milk quality.

Calf Feeding Bottle
Today’s calf is tomorrow’s cow. A calf requires about 200 litres of milk in the first 90 to 100 days of its life. Most dairy farmers prefer breeding with high genetic merit dams and sires. However, when the calf is born, they tend to be neglected because they are not provided enough milk, as most cows are milked with milking machines in milking parlours and the calves are weaned off very early.
The IDMC Calf Feeding Bottle, with a capacity of 1.5 litres, is designed to conveniently provide whole milk or reconstituted milk replacer to calves, ensuring their healthy growth and development.

Smart Weighing Scale (SWS)
Genetic improvement of Dairy Cows and Buffaloes is paramount in the pursuit of sustainable improvement in milk production. Real-time records are crucial, including milk yield, milk composition, days in milk, total lactation milk production, and not just from one animal but a whole population. Knowing the exact origin of the animal helps in determining its performance in comparison to the population.
The IDMC Smart Weighing System (SWS) is designed to facilitate the milk recorder in weighing the milk at the farm (cow side). The system also captures GPS coordinates and shares the relevant data with the INAPH system, installed on a device connected to the SWS via Bluetooth.

Digital Thawing Unit
Thawing of the Frozen Semen Dosed (FSD) is an important part of the SOP in Artificial Insemination of cattle and buffaloes. Thawing of FSD’s has a direct impact on the motility of sperms and the resulting conception rate.
The Digital thawing unit is an automatic FSD, that ensures the FSD is thawed at the prescribed temperature and time.
