Plate heat exchangers are used to transfer heat between two media, which are separated from each other by corrugated plates,  thereby extensively used for heating and cooling applications.

IDMC has got its own plate pressing facility. IDMC plates are in SS 316 construction having thickness of 0.5 and 0.6 mm.

IDMC’s plate heat exchangers offer enormous convenience for processing various products with flexibility, high thermal efficiency, exceptional control, and effective heat transfer which makes them ideal for heating and cooling purposes in demanding hygienic processes. Turbulent flow in the heat exchanger and smooth plate surface help in avoiding fouling and scaling, thereby ensuring longer usage hours between two CIPs.

The PHEs are compact, require minimal space and are available in SS AISI 304, 316, 316L, titanium and other exotic materials. Depending on the purpose for which the heat exchanger is needed, it may differ in configuration, structure and materials used.
