Job Summary

Support EIA activities during erection and commissioning of Project

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Supervise activities of Cable Tray Laying and other initial work for EIA related activities on project site
2. Coordinate with Electrical Contractor for EIA related activities
3. Guide the team of technicians and contractors for carrying out cabling activities and mounting of instrumentation related activities
4. Supervise and coordinate with other teams for timely completion of EIA activities on site in strict adherence to project schedule.
5. Finalize the routing for cables efficiently
6. Keep track of project schedule and progress against that. Flag any deviation / challenges to superior for immediate action
7. Attend FAT/ SAT for major EIA equipment
8. Carry out Cold Loop Testing after cabling and instruments are in place
9. Setup the control room and power up all the panels post Cold Loop Testing
10. Conduct Hot Loop Check before final commissioning of the Instruments
11. Conduct validations and sequence checking for Instruments and make any deviation, if required
12. Attend to Change Request by customers / project team and ensure its documentation
13. Run trials with customers / stake holders for validations and sign off on the desired outcome of EIA activities
14. Conduct servicing of Instruments / Panels
15. Attend to emergencies and break down situations of Instruments / Panels
16. Validate work done by Electrical contractor and recommend for processing payment
17. Provide valuable feedback to Costing, Design & programming team
18. Knowledge of automation and PLC Programming (Rockwell and Siemens)

Qualifications & Experience

BE / B.Tech. Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics with 4-7 years -OR- Diploma Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics with 6-9 years

Other Skills

Knowledge in MS office​, SAP
