Manager-Sales & Marketing-Non Food (Refrigeration)
Bachelor of Engineering or Technology preferably Mechanical Engineering with Post Graduate Diploma / MBA or equivalent in Sales & Marketing
Job Description
 1. Design and implement plans for increasing the market share and profitability for own project/product segment through analysis of market intelligence/ trends.

2. Oversee all data gathering activities including intelligence on market potential evaluation, performance of IDMC offerings vis-à-vis competitors, and trends in customer requirements and behaviours.

3. Review profitability of all Key Accounts in his/her segment on a periodic basis, identify challenges, if any, and develop plans to meet set profitability targets in consultation with President- Sales & Marketing. 

4. Continuously scan the environment for business opportunities in the form of tenders and proactive business development activities; generate business from multiple channels. 

5. Monitor all marketing and promotional activities to check alignment with the overall business strategy. 

6. Must be having excellent  knowledge of ammonia refrigeration system used in dairy/food/beverage industries.

7. Monitor all proposal making activities for business development - coordinate with Projects, Products and Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation teams for exchange of information for the same. 
8. Review agreements and contracts drafted for customers in his/her segment and maintain effective documentation during sale and post-sale process.
9. Oversee collection of Payment, Sales tax forms, confirmation of Balances / Reconciliation / Adjustments of customers’ accounts, other applicable forms and documents and ensure adherence to sales, customer service and commercial processes in line with financial and legal control parameters for his/her segment.
10.Utilize SAP for efficient processing / reporting of sales transactions in his/her segment.
11. Closely monitor all collections, MIS and outstanding clearance for discrepancies and take action as and when required.
12. Assist President- Sales & Marketing in preparing market assessment reports to present to senior management to facilitate formulation of national and regional growth strategy of IDMC. 
13. Monitor the performance of employees within the department and take necessary interventions to improve performance. 
14. Assist President- Sales & Marketing in the formulation of Sales & Marketing budget for his/her own product segment.
15. Assist President- Sales & Marketing in developing a robust sales and marketing strategy for his/her own project/product segment through analysis of data on market trends and customer requirements.
